I don't know if any of you remember the great Saturday Night Live segment from the early 1990's called Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy. I always go such a kick out of their ironic and sarcastic humor and since I share that same type of humor, I thought it would be appropriate to name my blog after that SNL sketch.
I'll be posting my thoughts on things happening in my life and any lessons that I may take from them. I do have a tendency to tie to the teachings in the Bible, so just beware. Also, I have a very liberal theological belief and a middle of the road political belief; just another warning. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I hope to enjoy writing.
